What is Account Health?
The marketplace's running scorecard of how well you are performing as a seller, covering order problems, policy violations, and shipping reliability. It matters because a poor score can cost you selling privileges, not just ranking.
Why it matters in practice
Account health is the one metric where the downside is not gradual. Ranking and conversion decline in steps you can see coming, but a health failure can remove your ability to sell the same day, with your inventory still sitting in the marketplace's warehouses. In practice it is made up of a handful of tracked measures, each with a threshold the marketplace publishes and can change, so the operator habit that works is checking it on a schedule rather than reacting when a warning appears. A seller who ships late through one bad week, gets a run of negative feedback, and then picks up a policy notice has not had three unrelated problems, they have had one compounding one.
